Products

Corrugated Tubing

4OEM produces high-quality plastic corrugated tubing (convoluted/split-loom) used primarily for the protection of wiring in automobiles, trucks, commercial vehicles, RV’s, and appliances. With multiple specialized corrugation production lines and 62 mold sets, we produce multiple corrugated tubing dimensions and profiles using a variety of materials including polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, TPE/ETP, Kynar and others. Using our specialized machines and molds, we produce corrugated tubing to meet the specifications of North American OEM’s such as Aptiv (formerly Delphi)/GM, Ford, Chrysler (FCA) and European and Japanese auto makers. We have mold sets designed to produce specialized profiles known as Ultra Flat Wave and Automotive High Wave. 4OEM will consider any special request. 

Extruded Smooth-Wall Tubing and Profiles

4OEM has multiple extrusion lines for the production of high quality smooth-wall tubes in standard ASTM sizes or custom sizes and profile shapes for all of your application needs. Our extruded tubing can be produced in various materials and colors and cut to your specific needs.

Wiring Protection Systems

4OEM offers an extensive line of high-quality products for wiring protection systems including manifolds, interfaces, backshells, cable channels, cable ducts and more for wiring harnesses. In combination, our tubing and wiring protection system products offer assurance to our customers that all the components of the wire protection systems for the finished wiring harnesses they produce are compatible and maintain a high degree of dimensional precision while simultaneously minimizing the number of suppliers needed to fulfill their finished harness requirements.

Injection Molded Products

Expanding on our expertise, 4OEM will add custom injection molding to produce injection molded products for essentially any market. Check back for upcoming announcements regarding our injection molding capabilities (late-2022).

Our founders have been in the plastics industry for a combined 100 years, producing and providing many of the products 4OEM offers and serving the same markets that 4OEM serves. We have an exceptional understanding of the plastics industry and of the ever-increasing market demand for the products that 4OEM offers.

4OEM is the brainchild of four industry veterans who saw an opportunity to fill a gaping hole in the engineered plastic wire harness protection solutions market that was left due to the exit of a major German-based manufacturer from the North American market.

Rajiv Iyengar

CEO

Rajiv Iyengar, CEO, is a global executive with over 24 years in the plastics industry. Rajiv has successfully structured organizations, driven organizational developments and defined business processes which created new revenue streams and growth opportunities for businesses including M&Q Plastics and Schlemmer North America. Rajiv started his career as a process engineer in the plastics field. He served as Plant Manager for M&Q Plastics from 1994 to 2001 and then Global Director of Sales from 2001 to 2008. He served as VP of Schlemmer North America from 2008 to 2017. Rajiv directed several greenfield projects in Asia and South America and Schlemmer’s greenfield project in San Antonio, TX. Upon leaving Schlemmer, Rajiv joined Korn Consult U.S. Inc., an international business consulting firm, as President/CEO U.S. Rajiv has also provided business analytics solutions to manufacturing companies of all sizes through his own company, Epimoni Solutions since 2017.

John Thomas

DOE

John Thomas, DOE, brings 37 years’ experience in the injection molding industry. His expertise includes 18 years in building new tooling and 4 years designing new tooling. John worked 19 years with Panasonic Corporation in the capacities of tooling manager, budget controller, injection department maintenance and new tooling and engineering model shop. For the past 14 years, John has been the owner of Thomas Tooling Systems, and for the past 10 years has been a majority owner of Suzhou Frae Plastics in Suzhou, China.

Pinakin Desai

CTO

Pinakin Desai, CTO, has extensive experience in bringing industry redefining leadership to technology-based organizations in the agriculture, construction, and mining industries. Pinakin has expertise in new growth opportunities, innovation, big data, autonomous hardware, GPS, GIS navigation, process improvement, strategic partnerships, and transforming operations to enhance the bottom line.

Brent Whittington

DOSM

Brent Whittington, DOSM, has over 33 years’ experience in manufacturing ownership and manufacturing sales representation. Brent was co-owner of a manufacturing company that produces custom cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies for multiple markets. Brent has been the owner of Vantage Products Group, a manufacturer’s representative firm for 22 years, representing numerous global manufacturing companies including M&Q Plastic Products and Schlemmer that sell to the automotive, medical, high-tech electronic and industrial markets throughout the NAFTA region, USA.
